Guest Speaker: Lisa Carlson, co-author of the new book, Final Rights: Reclaiming the American Way of Death. Ms. Carlson wrote the original ground-breaking work, Caring for your Own Dead (1987), which started the home funeral movement. She has also written Caring for the Dead: Your Final Act of Love (1998) and I Died Laughing: Funeral Education with a Light Touch (2001) The recently-released Final Rights is co-authored with Josh Slocum, Executive Director of FCA.
