The Funeral Consumers Alliance of Maine conducted surveys of pricing for various funeral services. Funeral service providers in Maine responded to a mailed survey. The FCA correlated the various responses and generated an overview. Surveys were conducted in 2002 and in 2004, giving a basis of comparison for funeral-related costs and services.
