MIKE MCLAUGHLIN

Mike believes fully that every person that walks the face of the earth was made in the image of God himself and was made to know God, made to enjoy God, and Glorify God in everything they do. He has no greater desire in his life than for everyone he comes across to experience this truth and then experience the person who created it, God himself. That is where the most joy in life is found, in a personal relationship with Christ. He loves God, people, joy, and sports! His hope as FCA’s Director in Southern Maine is to assist staff, coaches, players, parents, referee’s, janitors, teachers(whoever!) in experiencing that same joy and freedom in knowing their creator and knowing why they are truly here on earth! 

He grew up in Woburn, Mass and after graduating from Woburn Memorial High School, he attended Boston College where he was a 2-year Captain and played Middle Linebacker on the Football Team from 2005-2009. After that, he played in the NFL for 2 seasons. He was introduced to FCA in his late 20’s by a great friend who was serving as FCA’s State Director in Maine. He was blessed to become a Board Member for the State of Maine and after about 18 months of serving on the board, felt a call into full time Ministry with FCA. 

Mike and his wife Cierra live in Portland along with their son Mac, and baby #2 due in the summer of 2024.
